Chloe Compton is an interdisciplinary artist and educator based in the Piedmont region of SC. Chloe studied ceramics at the Cleveland Institute of Art before completing her BFA at Lander University in 2020. In May of 2024, she received her MFA with a Professoriate Certificate from Winthrop University and is now teaching 2D Design, Printmaking, and Ceramics college courses. Her work combines ceramics, sculpture, and printmaking into an interdisciplinary practice exploring the connection between memory and natural landscapes. Chloe has been featured in exhibitions around the East Coast and Canada. Her work invites viewers to delve into the interplay between the natural world and personal recollections, prompting a dialogue about the significance of memory and place in shaping individual identity and familial bonds.
